LIGE

LIGE, sound performance, Roskilde/Copenhagen, 2015

LIGE celebrates the 100 years anniversary of women’s voting right in Denmark. The sound performance is composed and performed by Sandra Boss and Marie Højlund (Marybell Katastrophy). It takes form as asound collage consisting of the voices of several Danish female artists, amongst others Elsa Gress and Anna Klein.

LIGE was commissioned by Museet for Samtidskunst, Roskilde, and performed at the Fernissage of the exhibition Kvinder Frem! and at the lounge of the zine LIGE at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen.
