Reel to Reel – Sandra Boss

Tape installation and performance, 2012.

Five reel to reel tape recorders are connected with tape. The tape is running through the different machines creating a network of tape lines. The machines record and play the sound of the machines themselves. The eraser heads are disconnected allowing for sound on sound production. The performance ends when all the tape has run out leaving a big pile of tape on the floor.
